Residential Development continues to increase. New homes, apartment complexes and senior homes are planned for this year. A variety of price ranges will be available for the home shopper. Some of the housing additions that will be expanding include the following:
Watercress
The
creation and development of the Watercress community is the joint effort of
two local companies – Walker, Lane and Reed LLC and BGS Development. Walker,
Lane & Reed, LLC is a family owned business with dealings in residential,
commercial and agricultural real estate development. Walker, Lane & Reed
prides itself in being a family and community oriented business. The
company's main office is in Maize, Kansas. The owners also own Woodard
Mercantile, located at 4160 N. Maize Road. LewJene Schneider, of Walker, is
the listing agent for the Watercress development.
Fiddlers Cove
Beyond the lakes at Watercress over the old stone bridge lies Fiddler’s Cove
overlooking the barns and gardens of Prairie Pines.
Fiddler's Cove at Prairie Pines is an exclusive community located just west of Prairie Pines Christmas Tree Farm in Maize, Kansas. Your future home rests amongst beautiful landscaping surrounded by tress, ponds and streams. You're just a stone's throw away from a variety of events throughout the year, including chamber music concerts during the summer, Halloween fun in the fall and Christmas events during the winter. The beauty of your neighborhood and the surrounding areas will help you unwind as you sit on your porch in the evenings. Nothing could be better than being close to nature within the city limits!
