Council Member Alex McCreath
I have been a resident of Maize for over 20 years. I chose Maize because I grew up in the small rural community of White City, Kansas. The small town atmosphere is what drew me to the community of Maize.
Before my appointment to City Council I was privileged to serve Maize as a member of the Tree and Park Board as well as the Planning commission. While serving in these capacities I was elected as Chairman for both boards.
I have been assistant coach for the Westside Bears and have volunteered for basketball and baseball teams as needed. My two children were born here and attend the Maize school system. I have been a pilot for 28 years. I am currently a corporate pilot for a local business.
The quality, prosperity and growth of our community is important to me. I enjoy being part of the team that will continue to prosper in the upcoming years.

City Council Meetings
The Maize City Council meets at 7:00 p.m. on the third Monday of each month. The meetings are open to the public and held at the Maize City Hall Complex, 10100 Grady Ave. in Maize.
